Our product is an end-to-end solution that helps agencies manage their projects from sales to invoicing and everything in between.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Business Development Representative role is a Sales position. Your primary responsibility will be to directly interact with potential customers all over the world and successfully sell them our agency management tool.

Our customers look at Productive as a means to bring their business to the next level. It’s up to you to build long-lasting relationships by providing answers to their questions and presenting our tool in the best light.

For this role we are offering: 

A fixed monthly salary – EUR 1,300 gross

A sales commission – with commissions, a ramped up BDR can, for example, easily earn EUR 5,000 gross per month. How we calculate commissions is explained in detail below, so keep reading.

An additional EUR 650 gross (50% of the fixed salary) for the first three months of employment – a ramp-up period before first leads and commissions start coming in.

ABOUT THE JOB

What You’ll Be Doing

Responding to inbound customer inquiries via email

Communicating with customers all across the globe via online conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)

Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements

Clarifying the advantages of our software

Building and maintaining long-lasting relationships

Onboarding new customers

Best of all: helping customers truly grow their businesses by consulting them on how to deal with their daily business challenges

ABOUT YOU

Let’s See If We’re a Match

MUST HAVE: Excellent (C1, C2) English communication skills, both written and spoken

3+ years of experience in any type of sales / customer facing position

All or any of the following: experience working in an agency (software development, marketing…), experience working in a SaaS company, experience working in a software product company

You’re a fast learner, especially when taking in new technologies, services, and products

You’re assertive, but also charming, approachable and pleasant

You know how to explain complicated topics in a simple way

You’re self-motivated, prompt and punctual

COMMISSION

How Much You Can Earn

Example: Your quota for the quarter is set at $45,000. You’re expected to close deals in the amount that meets or exceeds that value during a quarter.

You’ll be rewarded with a 10% gross commission for everything sold below and up to the quota. If you exceed your target, you will be rewarded with a 20% gross commission for everything sold above the quota.

We always pay out a commission, regardless if you’re below or above the quota. You don’t have to meet the quota to be qualified for a commission payout.

Here are a couple of scenarios with amounts, for a better indication of possible earnings:

You sold $20,000.00 (below quota) – you will earn an extra $2,000.00 gross (10% of total sold) on top of your base salary for the quarter

You sold $45,000 (at quota) – you will earn an extra $4,500 gross (10% of total sold) on top of your base salary for the quarter

You sold $55,000 – you will earn an extra $4,500 gross for everything sold up to the quota (10% of total sold). You will also earn $2,000 gross because you went over the quota by $10,000 (20% of total sold). In total, you will earn $6,500 gross on top of your base salary for the quarter
