Nikola Buhiniček, Backend Developer
Engineering at Productive
Everyone here is on the same page, we know what to do and we trust each other. In an environment like that, perks like flexible working hours and remote work come in second place.
My Job
I’m a Backend Developer, but at Productive, that means a lot more than just typing code in your favorite editor. With time, you find yourself specifying and managing new features, decision making, mentoring new colleagues and things like that.
My Path to SaaS
I came to Productive from a development agency. I wanted to see for myself if the rumors about working on a single product are true. YES, THEY ARE.
Instead of client deadlines and context switches between projects, you’re constantly improving one product. As a result, you get more involved with all other product-related processes.
My Typical Day
A typical day at Productive has a bit of everything. You check pull requests from your teammates and type some code. You sync with frontend peers and product owners, then type some more code and talk about new feature specifications and design reviews.
The Team
It’s great to be part of a team where people share the same passions as you do. We all do our best to see Productive improve and keep our customers happy with our work.
Why Productive?
Productive is a tool that’s used all over the world. As such, it’s a one-of-a-kind product in our region and to be able to work in such an environment is really interesting, yet also really challenging.
Productive is a great place to be because everyone here is on the same page, we know what to do and we trust each other. In an environment like that, perks like flexible working hours and remote work come in second place. “You do you”—as long as you do a great job.
