We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to support our Engineering teams, improve our organizational processes and help us grow the company.

This role pays a range of:

Starting from EUR 5100 gross for an employment contract

Starting from EUR 6120 gross for a B2B contract

With an equity grant:

USD 40000-70000 in stock options
(4 years with a 1 year cliff)

Our Engineering department grew 100% in the last year—we need help with supporting engineers in their daily operations. This is one of the key roles that will help Productive scale.

We’ve doubled our Engineering department and reorganized it into multiple, cross-functional product teams. Your job is not to build the product and features (this is a non-coding role), but to help us build our engineering organization.

You will be the first Engineering Manager in our company, responsible for 7-10 engineers in one of our product teams.


Helping team members improve their engineering, communication and organizational skills

Monitoring team productivity and defining key performance metrics

Developing a career progression framework and managing the team’s career advancement expectations and possibilities

Taking part in activities like feature planning, roadmapping, prioritization, system design and technical reviews

Driving people to maximize their output potential

Evolving the company’s employer branding strategy and optimizing the existing hiring process to support our growth targets

Participating in technical and business strategy development, transferring the company’s high level plans to the engineering teams

Involvement in basically every segment of the Engineering department at Productive

a Match

The ideal candidate is a Senior Software Engineer with proven team leadership experience and career progress focused in the direction of engineering management.

If you recognize yourself in some of the following characteristics, we will be happy to meet you:

Strong technical background (preferably full stack) with at least 5 years of software development experience

Accomplishments in delivering successful software products

Determination in improving organizational processes and optimizing communication in the engineering teams

Ability to lead, coach and inspire strong software engineers

Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills

Some experience in performing hiring interviews or participating in the hiring process

Work experience in a SaaS product company is a plus
