Productive 4.18
Productive 4.18 brings a completely redesigned Resource Planner that adapts to your resourcing needs. We’re also introducing Dashboards 2.0, along with improvements to Invoicing and Sales.
AI ✨
- Use mentions when writing an AI Report prompt to get better results. You can mention People, Projects, Deals, and Budgets.
Invoicing 🧾
- A new progress bar will appear on every project, allowing you to quickly see invoicing data for all budgets on that project. Use it to check amounts left to be invoiced, in draft, finalized, or available for invoicing.
- You can now invoice budgets in bulk. They have to belong to the same client, and be in the same currency.
- Finalized invoices can now be edited using the three dot menu on the right of the invoice screen.
People & Resourcing 👥
- New way of navigating the resourcing timeline: Instead of scrolling, you can now select a specific time frame (like a week, month, or quarter) from the dropdown and move within it.
- Capacity indicators now adjust to your selected time frame, showing capacity in days or weeks for better clarity. The data in Fields is calculated based on what is currently displayed on the screen.
- Adjust column width to fit your needs: widen to see full booking labels, or narrow to view a longer time range.
- When looking at Resourcing grouped by Person, hover over the capacity indicator—you’ll notice there is more info now. Along with capacity, you’ll see how many confirmed and tentative bookings a person has and to which projects they have been assigned.
- You can also choose to include tentative bookings in capacity indicators to spot overbooking risks early.
- Absences now include both time off and remote work. Remote work doesn’t impact availability or overhead, so you’ll still be able to schedule those team members on projects.
- You’ll now find your company Organization Chart under Resourcing > Employees.
- Using a custom permission, you can prevent teammates from viewing other people’s contact info.
- “OR” filters are now available in Resourcing as well.
Dashboards 📊
- Use the Note widget to jot down meeting notes, personal memos, or add descriptions for nearby widgets.
- Organize and customize your Dashboard with dividers and headers.
- Widgets will now align automatically with other widgets when resized or moved around.
- When you edit a widget created from a Report, it will now open in full screen, and you can add Targets and Formulas right on the Dashboard.
Reports 📈
- Charts on Reports and Dashboards are now animated because it looks cool.
- Client-accessible Reports (and Widgets) using the Billable Time field will now display it as “Time” when viewed by that client. If you remove the Billable Time field from the report, the client won’t see anything.
- On the Time Entries report, you can now add the Invoice field, which references the invoice to which a specific time entry was added.
- The Service Types field can now be added to the People report.
Sales 💰
- Decide how you would like to report potential revenue from a Sales Deal. Select even distribution to evenly distribute revenue across dates of your choice, or use custom distribution to allocate a percentage of the revenue to a timeframe (or a single date).
System ⚙️
- Company (client) information can now be found in CRM > Companies—just click on the name of the company, and there you can add custom fields, payment terms, currency, etc.
