Productive 4.12
Productive 4.12 is here, bringing custom document styles that let you personalize invoices, deals, and budget PDFs. This release also includes improvements to AI, Budgeting, and more.
AI ✨
- Ask AI to create a summary of all activity and changes done on a sales Deal.
- AI filters are now available in Expenses, Budgets, Purchase Orders and Resourcing.
Automations 🤖
- Create even more complex Automations with new Task, Budget and Deal conditions.
Budgeting 💰
- If you’re using rate cards, now you can add estimates to time and materials services, along with a cap billing type on rates.
- Rate cards can be exported, and imported back to Productive – perfect if you need to adjust prices across your services.Â
- Add more information to service descriptions using the rich text editor.
- Lock financial periods to prevent changes to time entries, expenses, and services, ensuring accuracy for the month’s submitted revenue data.
Invoicing 🧾
- The progress bar in the Invoicing screen will give you a visual cue if there is an amount that needs to be invoiced, is already invoiced or perhaps is in draft.Â
Integrations 🧩
- Twinfield integration now supports a default cost center and project codes, along with service type mapping.
People & Resourcing 👥
- Define specific permissions on a workplace level, allows users to see allocated time or time off bookings only in their assigned workplace.
Platform ⚙️
- Create custom document styles for your Invoices; use different fonts, colors, backgrounds to make sure your invoices are alligned with your branding.
- When creating Document templates, you can set the “Note” field above line items (or services).
- On Contacts/Employees and Companies, now you can upload files and set a custom name for them (e.g. Work agreement).
- In addition to delete and edit, now you can duplicate Document Templates.
- New custom permissions added: Manage seats and manage billing, Access Document templates.
- If your Productive subscription requires to have GST / Sales tax / VAT on the subscription receipt, now you’ll have it.
- When you add a new user to your account, they will go through a Quick Start onboarding, making sure they learn the basics of Productive with a series of videos and steps.
- “OR” filters are now available when filtering Employees, Contacts, Invoices and Purchase Orders.
Project & Task Management ✅
- Create a new project template from scratch in the Template center.
Reports 📊
- Default Subsidiary and Default Tax Rate fields can now be seen in Companies report.
- You’ll find Origin Deal: Budget Total and Projected Revenue fields on the Budgeting report; use them to check the difference between the revenue in the Deal phase and the job phase. (In other words, the difference between sold and actual revenue for individual budgets).
Sales & CRM đź›’
- Check previous deal probability when you add a new one to keep information on track.
- Now you can add users in bulk to a Sales deal.
