Productive 4.16
Productive 4.16 introduces Forms—create and share Forms that turn responses into Tasks, Slack messages, or emails. This release also adds Docs templates and speeds up invoice and budget creation.
Automations 🤖
- When a Form is submitted, it can trigger an Automation. Create Tasks, emails, or Slack messages using the input from the Form.
Budgeting 💰
- Duplicate sections in a budget to create bigger budgets faster.
Invoicing 🧾
- When you’re creating an invoice from a Budget, it will now become a draft invoice automatically.
- Speaking of draft invoices, you can now choose your invoicing method in the draft phase (by time & expenses, remaining amount, or a percentage of the budget), and manually add custom line items.
- Tax rates are no longer pulled from the previous invoice. Instead, they’re based on default tax settings—whether you global, settings client-specific, or subsidiary-level.
Platform ⚙️
- Advanced OR filters are now available in Budgets, Tasks, Deals, and Expenses.
- If your card payment for the Productive subscription fails, you can now retry the payment instantly.
- Overhead cost can now be calculated for each subsidiary. This means you can track facility and internal costs per subsidiary, for even more precise financial reports.
Project & Task Management ✅
- Create Forms to collect input and feedback from teammates, clients, or anyone else. Use Forms for client requests, internal feedback, or event prep. Send them within your Productive organization, or share a public link with anyone.
- Timesheets can now be saved as drafts before submitting for final approval. This adds another layer of control and helps prevent unwanted edits.
- Create and save Docs templates to move faster—whether you’re drafting specs or planning projects.
Reports 📊
- If you’ve built a custom formula field in Reports, units of measure in that formula (e.g., EUR per hour) will now be visible on charts.
- A new data source, Deal funnels, lets you create funnel reports for your sales pipeline. Track how deals move from lead to won/lost.
Sales 💰
- A new Next TO-DO field is now visible on the Deals screen. No need to open the Deal – you’ll instantly see the next action to be done.
