NEW RELEASE • AUG 5 2025
Productive 4.17
Productive 4.17 introduces an improved Scenario Builder and new Automations that let you automate Tasks across multiple Projects.
Automations 🤖
- Automations can now be triggered across multiple projects, so you no longer need to create separate ones for each. You can also apply existing Automations to multiple projects at once.
Budgeting 💰
- If you create Budgets using the simple editor, you’ll notice the option to add sections and new fields, making the whole process easier and faster.
Invoicing 🧾
- Bank account information is available on the Invoice screen, so you can change bank account details for a specific invoice. You can also change bank account details for each invoice template in Settings.
Integrations 🧩
- Send invoices using the PEPPOL network. The standard supported is Peppol BIS Billing 3.0.
People & Resourcing 👥
- You can now create bookings for multiple people at once. When creating a single booking there is now an option to assign in to multiple people, which will then in effect multiply that booking. This is perfect for collective holidays, meetings…
Project & Task Management ✅
- When duplicating a task list, you can now duplicate dependencies as well.
Reports 📊
- Purchase orders are now available as a data source when creating a Report, so you can have a dedicated PO report.
- The field “Work cost” has been renamed to “Labour cost”.
- When creating a Report, you can choose to dock (or show) selected filters permanently, or you can undock them for a more minimalist interface that focuses on the data.Â
Scenario Builder 🔮
- With Permission Builder, you can now create a custom permission that lets users build scenarios even if they don’t have access to profitability figures. Previously, only users with visibility into profit could use Scenario Builder.
- Scenarios now have start and end dates that are calculated from bookings associated with that scenario. You’ll see the dates just above the scenario, along with other new fields like Revenue and Cost.
- When creating scenarios, you can now skip temporary resources and assign the potential scenario to an employee or a placeholder.
