Productive 4.13

Productive 4.13 is here and it’s full of brand new features and updates:

AI ✨

  • AI filters are now available when looking up Employees and Companies.

Budgeting 💰

  • Move Services from one budget to another. This will move associated time entries, expenses, and bookings.
  • On the Budget overview tab, you can now filter by fiscal year or quarter.

Invoicing 🧾

  • Add your own Tax ID name to document templates and match your local tax terminology.
  • We’ve completely overhauled custom permissions for Invoicing. The new ones are far more granular. Find them under Settings > Permission Sets in the Invoices and Payments categories.

Integrations 🧩

  • Map tax rates in Productive with QuickBooks to make sure each line item in Productive has its tax in QuickBooks.
  • Automatic user provisioning from Microsoft Entra is now enabled. When you add a user to Entra, they will appear in Productive as well. And vice versa, deleting a user in Entra will delete them in Productive.
  • After syncing an expense to Xero, you can now define the status as Draft, Submitted, or Approved.

People & Resourcing 👥

  • Define alternating work hours every two weeks. This is especially useful for our customers in the UK, Australia, and the Netherlands.
  • Use half-day allocations for Time Off. This works only for time off categories limited by days.

Platform ⚙️

  • When using sharing options (e.g. sharing a Project or a Report), hover over the Team you want to share the item with to see all its members.
  • If you sign in to Productive from a new location, you’ll get a warning email as an extra security layer.

Project & Task Management ✅

  • Download the Gantt chart, save it, or send it as a PDF. Perfect for clients and team briefings.
  • Adding tables to Docs is now easier. Click the plus + sign to add a new row or column.

Sales & CRM đź›’

  • Sales deals can now be assigned to Projects, whether a new one or an existing one. Each Project now has a “Deal” tab to reflect this change.
  • Create a Deal template and save it in the Template Center.
  • Like with Budgets, you can move services from one sales deal to another. This will move associated time entries, expenses, and bookings.
