As summer continues, we’re excited to bring you a host of new features and improvements released this July.

From multiple sales pipelines to refining invoicing settings and custom permissions, we’ve been hard at work making Productive even more efficient for you. Let’s dive in and see what’s new.

Multiple Sales Pipelines

If you’re investing a lot of time (and money) in sales, you know that not all prospective customers follow the same path to sealing the deal. That’s why now you can create multiple sales pipelines to cover scenarios like:

  • Selling in different regions, markets, and types of customers
  • Having specific pipelines for each sales rep
  • Focusing on post-sales

New in Invoicing: Default Invoicing Settings

It’s expected to have different invoicing terms and conditions (e.g., payment terms, document templates, and tax rates) with some of your clients, and now you can define default invoicing settings for each client individually.

When you navigate to CRM > Companies, select a company of your choice, and there you can edit the terms. These will then apply to each invoice when you create one. Learn more here.

Also, we’ve moved invoice custom fields from the puzzle icon to the invoicing information section, making it easier to navigate.

New Custom Permissions: Teams, Time Off

By creating custom permissions for users in your agency, you can finely tune who will have access to what in Productive. As we expand our features further, we always make sure to add new custom permissions for them.

Now you can define in detail the permissions concerning managing both team members’ roles and personal information. We’ve also added Time Off entitlements to the mix, meaning that you can define who will be able to view, edit, delete, and manage time off entitlements. Learn more by following this link.

Push Expenses to Xero

If Xero is your accounting tool of choice, you’ll be pleased to know that the integration now supports Expenses along with invoices. This means that you can push Expenses to your Xero account to keep your reports nice and tidy, along with any extra documents (e.g., supplier invoices).

Learn more about the integration here.

Wait, There Is More!

  • Attachments will now be shown in Time Off approval notification emails.
  • When using the Gantt view, the “Move dependent tasks” toggle adjusts the dates of dependent tasks when you change the start or end date of a preceding task.
  • A new condition is available in Automations: select a project when automating Invoices.
  • Enable the “Shared with me” notification for Deals and Budgets.

Still To Come:

  • More AI capabilities
  • Scenario builder
  • Tax Codebook
  • “Or” operator in Filters

We’re always looking to make your experience of using Productive better.

We’ll keep you updated as we ship more improvements. The following Monthly Updates will arrive at the beginning of September 2024.
